School Visits

We offer hands-on, curriculum-linked sessions for schools and educational groups, tailored to your year group and delivered in the unique setting of OmVed Gardens.

Our sessions support the National Curriculum while encouraging curiosity, creativity and a deeper connection with the natural world.

As a non-profit private garden, we ask schools to make a contribution towards the cost of their visit.

If your school would benefit from financial assistance to visit, please get in touch to discuss the support available.

Why visit OmVed?

  • Discover urban wildlife - search for, observe and investigate the creatures that make their homes in the garden.

  • Grow, harvest & taste - explore where our food comes from, pick fresh produce and taste foods that many children may be trying for the first time.

  • Create with nature - experiment with natural materials and explore hands-on, nature-inspired art techniques.

  • Explore a private garden - learn and discover in a unique, welcoming green space away from the crowds.

In our ever-changing climate, we are well adapted by providing warm or cool indoor spaces where learning can continue regardless in our spaces such as The Barn (our heated/air conditioned primary events space), Seed Library, and Greenhouse.

School visits are now available for both state and independent schools (from EYFS up to tertiary) across London. If you’d like to book a session, please get in touch, we’d love to host you.
